Sessions are one-on-one, 50 minutes, conducted online via video call. We work at whatever pace suits you, some people prefer weekly sessions, others every two weeks. There's no rigid program. The work shapes itself around you.
I work in English and Dutch, with clients across Europe and the US. Time zones are rarely a problem, I keep flexible hours across both LA and Amsterdam.

It’s essential to reflect on your past and understand how you’ve become who you are. However, it’s equally important to learn how to implement these insights in practical ways. Together, we will pursue both avenues, always aiming for genuine and lasting transformation in your life.

No. Some people come to me actively dating and frustrated. Others have been single for a while and want to understand why. Others have just ended something and need to make sense of it before they move on. Where you are right now is the right starting point.

Honestly, most people notice a shift in perspective within the first two or three sessions. Behavioral change takes longer. A 12-session package is usually a great start to make meaningful, lasting progress. This isn't a quick fix, but it's also not open-ended.

Unfortunately, coaching is generally not automatically reimbursed by insurance companies. Most insurers will only cover psychological assistance if a specific diagnosis is present. This often results in a prescribed treatment plan with a limited number of sessions, creating a bureaucratic process that hinders the customization essential for effective mental healthcare. Consequently, this system often leads to addressing symptoms rather than the underlying issues.
Many clients find themselves trapped in this framework and begin seeking a more holistic approach. Some insurers do offer coaching as part of an additional package, so it’s worthwhile to inquire if this option is available for you. Additionally, it’s helpful to know that as a private individual, you might be able to deduct coaching expenses as healthcare costs on your taxes, while entrepreneurs can sometimes categorize them as learning costs. Consult with your accountant to see what your options are.
